PEmicro Cyclone MultiChannel Programmer
PEmicro’s Cyclone MultiChannel programmers are production-ready, in-circuit programming systems designed to program multiple target devices simultaneously. They combine the reliability of Cyclone stand-alone programming with a scalable multi-channel architecture that helps reduce programming time, simplify fixture integration, and improve production efficiency.
Each Cyclone MultiChannel unit includes four programming channels on the base unit, with expansion available through QuadPod Channel Expanders. Up to three QuadPods can be connected to a base unit, creating a compact 16-channel programming system.
Each integrated channel in the programmer is a fully independent programming system with its own processor, memory, and interface electronics. This design maximizes performance and provides dedicated supervision of each target being programmed. All channels are integrated into a single programmer for ease of control—configure what should be programmed on each channel and launch programming. The programmer manages the channels internally, and results are available as an overall pass/fail result and as per-channel results.
Featurers
Ultra-Compact Multi-Channel Form Factor:
- Suited for both fixture and non-fixture use
- Four-channel blocks can be snapped together, mounted, or DIN-railed
High Channel Count:
- Available in 4-, 8-, 12-, and 16-channel configurations
- Multiple MultiChannel programmers can be controlled in parallel for even higher channel counts
Extensive Device Programming Support:
- Supports many thousands of ARM devices (see FX model for non-ARM support)
- Supports SWD, JTAG, Secure JTAG, and additional debug protocols
- No per-device or per-algorithm licensing fees—includes a large library of device support
Hashed, Verifiable, Secure Programming Images:
- Designed for highly repeatable bulk programming across channels
Dynamic Data and Serialization per Channel:
- Add customized programming data for each device programmed
- Share serial numbers across channels
Advanced Device Feature Programming:
- Supports security, fuses, OTP, option bytes, life-cycle states, HSM, and more
Independent I/O and Voltage Handling per Channel:
- Each channel has its own I/O, communications processor, and local storage
- The programmer also has 1 GB+ of shared space for programming images
